Actionwork creates and produces a variety of shows for performance in theatres and non-traditional venues such as schools, parks and festivals, throughout the UK and other parts of the world

Although all our shows will stand up on their own in any theatre, many of our performances are used for theatre-in-education. Actionwork is one of the South Wests leading theatre-in-education companies and performs to schools throughout North Somerset, Somerset, the South West, England, the UK and other parts of the world. Recent international tours included visits to Japan and Malyaysia.

Through theatre-in-education we can explore many different topics, social issues, and pshe programmes. All of our shows are backed up with workshops and can include lesson plans, evaluation reports and a variety of other resources.

Costs start from £299. A typical theatre-in-education programme performed in the south west of England that included a show and a workshop for up to 300 students can cost as little as £450. Please contact us for prices and further details.

• Silent Scream is a show tackling the issues of bullying. Hard hitting, full of music, dance and storytelling, this play has toured all over the UK to schools, youth clubs, theatres, universities and festivals.
• The Improvised Show Available throughout the year. We can improvise a show for you on a topic or issue of your choice. These shows are fun, interactive and energetic.
• The Specially devised Show Available throughout the year. We can create a show for you on a topic or issue of your choice. Let us write for you and then produce a fantastic piece of theatre for you.
